The 3rd GloFouling R&D Forum and Exhibition on Biofouling Management, jointly organized by the GEF-UNDP-IMO GloFouling Partnerships project and the Korea Research Institute of Ships & Ocean Engineering (KRISO), has been held from November 4 to November 8, 2024 in Busan, Republic of Korea.
This was an opportunity for the project to take part in the discussion in session 8, entitled “Biofouling Management in Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) and Particularly Sensitive Sea
Areas (PSSAs)”, and to share with the audience the latest advances in the project thanks to the intervention of Sonia ”The journey towards declaring the Thermal Dome as a Particularly Sensitive Sea Area (PSSA)“.
